​​​​​​​​​​An international student may also study at Univali as a Free Mover. These students can choose to take disciplines from the entire Univali Program, including the disciplines of the International Program. These disciplines will be paid for individually and according to the number of credits. Applicants must send an email to coai@univali.br​, attaching digital copies of the following documents:

  • Passport;
  • Passport;
  • Transcript of academic records;
  • Proof of enrolment at the applicant’s current institution, or a higher education degree certificate (Hague apostilled or accredited by a Brazilian ​consulate) 
  • A letter of recommendation from the applicant’s current institution (preferable, though not essential);
  • ​The discipline(s) the applicant wishes to take.
Once the application and documents have been reviewed, a decision will be made. If approved, the applicant will receive a letter of acceptance, which can then be used to apply for a Student Visa from the Brazilian Consulate. To obtain this Visa, the student must intend to take a full-time course, i.e. at least 20 credits per semester.​
