​International exchange students can study at Univali for six months or a year, without tuition fees. They can attend classes in Portuguese on the undergraduate Programs, or courses on the International Program.

The process begins when the student enquires about Univali’s Foreign Exchange Program, either at Univali itself or at an affiliate university with which Univali has an Exchange agreement. If the move is approved, the student will be officially nominated by their own university. The Internalization Office of Univali will then request certain documents, which it will review. Once approved, the student will receive a letter of acceptance, which can then be used to obtain a Student Visa to study in Brazil.
